The POC Spine VPD 2.0 Back Protector features highly efficient ventilation technology and has significantly reduced residual force values compared to the Spine VPD protectors. This means that the rider experiences considerably less strain on the spine in the event of a fall onto the back, thanks to the integrated viscoelastic polymer, which remains permanently thermoplastic and highly shock-absorbing even at very low temperatures, and adapts individually to the wearer. Upon impact, the material stiffens, providing extremely high energy absorption, not just during the initial impact but throughout all impacts on the back protector during a fall and throughout the entire lifespan of the protector.
