The Spine VPD 2.0 Vest System from Poc is a vest with an integrated back protector that features significantly reduced residual force values compared to the Spine VPD protectors. This means that the rider experiences considerably less strain on the spine during a fall onto the back, thanks to the integrated viscoelastic polymer, which remains thermoplastic and highly shock-absorbing even in very cold temperatures and adapts individually. Upon impact, the material stiffens and provides extremely high energy absorption, not only during the initial impact but also during all subsequent impacts throughout the duration of the protector's life. Despite the comprehensive protection, the Spine VPD 2.0 Vest offers complete freedom of movement and is equipped with highly efficient ventilation technology.
