Ergonomic vs. Fashion. While the industry tends towards frames with longer reach and wider handlebars, the stretched position this creates for the rider is not always beneficial. With a 10° backsweep and 5° upsweep, the Range handlebar creates a more ergonomic riding position that spares your shoulders and reduces wrist fatigue.

Material is key. The Range is made from a 2014 aluminum alloy (2014-T73 heat treated alloy), a trail-friendly material that mimics the springy properties of carbon. However, aluminum is more affordable, durable, and less finicky when it comes to crashes.

The numbers behind comfort. While it’s no secret that bike frame designers prefer longer reaches and we all enjoy the stability of wider handlebars, the new pressure points these trends create for high-impact areas, like the old bird bones in the discussion, often overlook your wrist. The Range handlebar addresses this issue with a design that places you in a more comfortable position.

10° backsweep and 5° upsweep. This combination helps to position your shoulder blades in a more neutral position, especially when climbing, and can help reduce unwanted wrist fatigue when descending.

30 mm rise. Just like with good sourdough bread, the rise of a handlebar is another crucial component of the equation. We chose 30 mm to keep your front end low enough for bikes with longer travel while still providing a good height for the increasingly popular trail rigs with 120-140 mm of travel.
