The SmarTUBE family of tubes is made from TPU, a thermoplastic polyurethane known for its high elasticity, mechanical durability, and extreme lightness. The new SmarTUBE EVO features a new TPU formula that offers performance in terms of flexibility, smoothness, and comfort that can compete with latex tubes while guaranteeing up to 50% less weight compared to the latter. Additionally, the new SmarTUBE EVO provides a 5% lower rolling resistance compared to the already available fast Pirelli SmarTUBE on the market. This advancement of the famous Pirelli SmarTUBE incorporates feedback from World Tour teams collaborating with the Milan tire manufacturer, contributing to the optimization of weight and speed of the P ZERO tires, benefiting all loyal followers of the practical "wire tire + tube" system. The new version of the traditionally yellow Pirelli SmarTUBE covers sizes from 25-622 to 28-622 and is offered with three different black PRESTA valves: 42 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm for high-profile rims. It is not compatible with rim brakes and cannot be repaired.
