The SmarTUBE family of tubes is made from TPU, a thermoplastic polyurethane known for its high elasticity, mechanical resilience, and extreme lightness. The new SmarTUBE EVO features a new TPU formula and offers performance in terms of flexibility, smoothness, and comfort that can compete with latex tubes while guaranteeing up to 50% less weight compared to the latter. Additionally, the new SmarTUBE EVO provides a 5% lower rolling resistance compared to the already available fast Pirelli SmarTUBE. This evolution of the famous Pirelli SmarTUBE incorporates feedback from World Tour teams collaborating with the Milan-based tire manufacturer, contributing to the optimization of weight and speed of the P ZERO tires, benefiting all loyal followers of the practical "wire tire + tube" system. The new version of the traditionally yellow Pirelli SmarTUBE covers sizes from 25-622 to 28-622 and is offered with three different black PRESTA valves: 42 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm for high-profile rims. It is not compatible with rim brakes and cannot be repaired.
