The special rear wheel profile is polarising: It builds rather flat and its rather hard compound awards valuable points in traction. Is only really good with low air pressure.
The Scorpion™ E-MTB M is the e-mountain bike specific tyre with the most versatile characteristics for trail and enduro use: designed for daily use on the local trails and races at the weekend. The performance of the Scorpion™ E-MTB M is consistent over time and its behaviour is easily predictable, making it a perfect all-rounder. The tyre's design was developed with the help of former downhill world champions to create a tyre whose behaviour is easily predictable in any type of use. The large and widely spaced knobs provide a solid feeling of stability, along with superior braking and traction grip. The SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound is a soft compound specially tuned for demanding enduro use in all weather conditions. Although the SmartGRIP Gravity compound is soft, it is still very tear resistant and offers good values in rolling resistance and wear. The HyperWALL carcass is an e-mountain bike specific technology as it offers additional sidewall reinforcement and higher puncture protection. The rubber insert, which is firmly bonded to the bead, offers excellent protection against crushing while providing good support at lower air pressures.
