Protagonist – your enduro/DH tire for maximum grip and cornering stability. The V-shaped tread pattern works with differentiated corner grip, allowing you to initiate direction changes smoothly and controlled. On the trail, it rides predictably and tracks well, providing stable side support in lean angles and delivering powerful braking performance. Closely spaced center knobs with exposed side edges provide bite, while the wide contact patch combines high grip and braking power with fast rolling – ideal for dry to mixed conditions. Technically, the Antagonist in 29×2.4 features the SmartEVO DH compound – developed by the Pirelli motorsport team for racing grip and durability – and casings that are created in direct collaboration with Pirelli's motorsport and cycling departments. You can choose between DualWall (our most protective construction for maximum sidewall protection and puncture resistance) and HardWall (enduro-focused, lighter, and smoother with a balanced mix of weight and protection). Both versions come with a foldable bead for reliable seating and easy handling. The weight is approximately 1190 g (HardWall) and approximately 1310 g (DualWall).
