Product details
A truly clever idea - the Nao by Petzl is a headlamp with automatic brightness regulation. Thanks to the built-in brightness sensor, the Nao calculates the necessary light intensity for each situation. When reading a map, the light dims to prevent glare. For distant views - whether alpine climbing, hiking, or trail running - the headlamp brightens and provides a focused, bright beam. The advantage of the Reactive Lighting principle is clear: on one hand, the energy source is always optimally utilized, and on the other hand, the user always has both hands free. There’s no need to take your hands off the rock to adjust the lamp's brightness - the Nao does it automatically. Of course, there is also the option to operate the Nao in a constant light mode. In this mode, it functions like any conventional headlamp and can be adjusted in two levels (light mode or energy-saving mode). Brightness can be customized using Petzl's free software according to individual needs. The Nao is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which can be easily charged with the included USB cable. If you are out in the mountains for an extended period, the battery can also be replaced with two AAA batteries. To prevent the lamp from turning on and draining in your backpack, the Nao features a lockable switch. The battery level can be checked at any time via an LED display. An all-around convincing concept - the Nao by Petzl.
