This makes it one of the lightest Pentax binoculars of all time. With its exclusively developed design, the binoculars can be easily held in hand and taken along on any occasion, such as for nature observation while traveling and hiking, or at sporting events, concerts, and theater performances.

Clear and bright view. Multi-coated lenses prevent strong reflections and provide a bright, clear view of the subject while minimizing stray light and ghost images. In the Pentax UD 9x21, all reflective surfaces of the optical elements are multi-coated with "Full Multi Coating" to ensure particularly bright visibility of the subject.
