Do you miss thumb shifters? Are you switching from drop to flat bars? With this part, you can convert bar end shifters to thumb shifters. The shifters are not included but are readily available in 8 to 11 speed versions. At Paul Comp, they favor thumb shifters because they can be operated precisely and smoothly. The mount is designed as a hinge clamp that covers handlebar diameters of 22.2 mm or 31.8 mm. The 22.2 mm version fits on mountain bike handlebars, while the 31.8 mm version can be mounted on drop bars close to the stem. The Paul Comp thumb shifter mount can only accommodate Shimano handlebar or downtube shifters. Available in black or silver, with 22.2 mm or 31.8 mm clamping diameter.
