To ensure that the ski touring shorts are particularly lightweight, elastic, and robust, Ortovox uses Merino Naturetec Light as the main material: It provides excellent breathability and elasticity while also being wind-resistant. Technical inserts in the front area, made from a special three-layer warp knit material with a windproof membrane, protect against weather conditions while remaining breathable. At the same time, air pockets in the fabric provide light insulation. For the sake of the environment, the shorts are PFC-free and climate-neutral.

The details are tailored to the needs of ski touring shorts: The back is completely wind and waterproof thanks to the Dermizax NX membrane. The adjustable waistband with drawstring allows for easy adjustment, while soft inserts in the waistband made from a Merino material blend enhance comfort. The side zip openings allow the shorts to be quickly put on and taken off.
