Ortovox CARBON 280+ PFA

With a diameter of 13 mm combined with the carbon material, it is incredibly stiff, break-proof, and precise. Additionally, it features a steel cable pull system that guarantees maximum rigidity. Thanks to the PFA quick tensioning system, it can be tensioned in seconds and just as easily released and folded up. The rubberized grip also ensures safe, ice-free handling in all conditions. Like all Ortovox probes, the CARBON 280+ PFA has a visual guiding system with depth markings and a clear 1-meter marking. It also comes in an optimized quick-release case.

With the new quick tensioning loop, the probe can be tensioned directly from the case. It is released by pressing down against the system cover with your thumb.

The thin and lightweight rubber coating of the ergonomic grip provides perfect hold for quickly tensioning the probe. The intuitive visual guiding system offers a quick and clear indication of the burial depth at all times, thanks to the distinct 1-meter marking.
