Product details

The Opinel carbon steel is a high-carbon steel with a high carbon content. After heat treatment, it offers excellent hardness, a perfect fit with the edge, and high durability, allowing for easy resharpening. However, carbon steel has low resistance to corrosion from moisture. Therefore, precautions are necessary when using it: do not leave your knives in the dishwasher and wipe the blade with a dust-binding cloth after use. Also, regularly lubricate the joints.
