The housings of the Prostaff 5 spotting scopes are approximately 20% lighter than the current RA III models. The newly developed zoom eyepiece minimizes color fringing at the edge of the field of view and offers a large eye relief for comfortable observation. Three types of eyepieces with digiscoping compatibility are available. They are waterproof (up to 10 minutes at a depth of 1 meter) and fog-free thanks to O-ring seals and nitrogen filling of the housing. The eyepieces are splash-proof. A digiscoping adapter is available for the three newly developed eyepieces.
