The FuelCell LD-X by New Balance are comfortable spike shoes for both men and women, based on feedback from various New Balance athletes. The mesh upper is breathable yet robust enough to keep your feet securely in place while running. The FuelCell LD-X are designed for faster runs over mid-range and long distances (3 - 10 km) on the track. The heel cap is soft and wraps around your heel particularly comfortably. The FuelCell LD-X feature fixed spikes that are not removable. The FuelCell foam provides a forward propulsion feel while running. Additionally, this spike shoe has a full-length external carbon plate with integrated pins for grip and propulsion.
