The midsole has been fully revamped compared to the previous model, Inspire 21, and now includes the nitrogen-infused Mizuno Enerzy NXT technology. This new material provides both cushioning to absorb impact while running and energy return for a powerful push-off. The drop has been adjusted from 12 mm to 10 mm to create a more natural running feel. The heel area integrates the Mizuno Enerzy NXT, maintaining cushioning in the upper part of the midsole while ensuring stability.

The wave shape of the Mizuno Wave is designed for individuals with overpronation. The modification of the inner and outer shapes helps prevent the arch from sinking and provides high stability. The anatomically shaped plate follows the foot's contours for a smooth weight transfer from ground contact to push-off.
