An expanded CorTech chamber and 54 grams of additional weight in the rear of the club create the most stable driver Mizuno has ever developed, offering exceptional straight-line performance on its broad, inviting face. The ST MAX 230 Driver features two new technical enhancements that ensure stability is paired with impressive ball speeds - a next-generation CorTech chamber and a new, beta-rich LFS Ti face. The result is an impressive ball flight that stays on any line, no matter how you set it up.
The goal of the ST-MAX project was to develop the highest possible MOI and the best performance on off-center hits - without sacrificing ball speed or making the profile cumbersome.
Max Stability: Wide profile, massive 54g rear weighting, and 40% larger graphite composite for extreme spin resistance on off-center hits and a straight, predictable ball flight.
Expanded CorTech Chamber: A dense stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU takes stress off the face and creates an additional energy source. In the ST MAX, it has been extended and moved closer to the face to maintain ball speed over a larger area of the face.
New Beta Rich Ti LFS: A new, lighter, and faster face material with 9% higher tensile strength (compared to SAT2041) for a complex multi-thickness face geometry. First introduced in Mizuno's 2024 Tour Driver, the ST-G 440cc.
Longer 45 ¾ inch shaft for higher clubhead speeds: Made possible by the additional stability and off-center performance of the ST-MAX head.
Quick Switch Hosel: 4 degrees of adjustability.
