The Trenta uses the MIPS-C2 system to protect the brain and can slide relative to the head in the event of a fall, redirecting harmful rotational forces. Designed for group use, the rear design of the MET Trenta and its internal channels allow it to perform optimally within a group by providing up to 7% less resistance than a conventional bike helmet. The NACA front ventilation and rear deflectors work together to direct airflow inside the helmet without slowing you down. 30% of the helmet is in contact with the head, reducing temperature increase.
