The Moab Speed 2 GTX is the latest innovation in hiking from the Merrell brand, combining the knowledge and trail experiences of the best-selling hiking shoe, the Merrell Moab, with the latest innovations from athletic hikers around the world. Enhanced traction is provided by the use of Vibram TC5+ rubber with a completely new design specifically developed for Merrell. Hikers know that comfort is paramount, and the new Moab Speed offers 30% more cushioning underfoot. Breathability has also been significantly improved. The GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane is exceptionally breathable and waterproof.

The upper is made of nylon ripstop and TPU. The laces are made from 100% recycled material. The padded collar adds extra comfort. There is a protective and abrasion-resistant rubber toe and heel cap. Double heel and tongue loops allow for easy entry. The mesh lining is made from 100% recycled material, and the footbed cover is also made from 100% recycled mesh.

Treated with Cleansport NXT! for natural odor control. The removable PU footbed contains 5% recycled material. The lightweight FlexPlate! technology provides torsional rigidity and stability in the forefoot area. The FloatPro! foam midsole ensures lasting lightweight comfort. The Vibram® TC5+ outsole technology gives you confidence with every step, from mountain trails to city streets. Vibram® TC5+ has been exclusively made for Merrell, offering all-around grip, traction, and durability for everyday use.
