Merrell Capra 2 GTX

The Merrell Capra 2 GTX is a robust men's hiking shoe designed for challenging terrain and all weather conditions. The upper is made from a combination of suede and mesh, providing breathability and protection. A Gore-Tex waterproof membrane keeps feet dry while allowing moisture to escape, ensuring comfort during wet hikes. The shoe is reinforced with a rubber toe cap and a heel overlay, enhancing durability and protecting against rocks and debris. Inside, a removable EVA insole offers cushioning and support, while the molded nylon arch shank provides stability on uneven ground. The midsole features Merrell Air Cushion technology in the heel for shock absorption and stability. The outsole is made of Vibram rubber with multidirectional lugs for excellent traction on various surfaces, from muddy trails to rocky paths. This model is the successor to the original Capra and offers improved grip and comfort. With lacing for a secure fit, these shoes are ideal for day hikes and trekking tours. The weight is approximately 43 oz (1219 g) per pair, with a shaft height of about 4.5 inches (11.4 cm). The drop is 14 mm from heel to forefoot. These shoes run true to size for most users.
