This unique construction ensures drier feet and thus more comfort. The structure under the foot is the centerpiece. Water vapor escapes through the Gore-Tex laminate into an open-cell spacer and from there laterally out of the shoe. The spacer also provides a soft walking sensation. With the X-SO 70 GTX, hikes on developed trails are no problem.
