The hand-stitched rubber belt provides protection for both the foot and the shoe. The free-running Speedwire of the variofix® system tightens evenly around the heel when laced. The grippy profile of the Meindl Multigrip® G4 sole, featuring a continuous EVA soft wedge and TPU heel stabilizer, offers secure footing and excellent cushioning. The sole contains 22% recycled rubber, which is generated during the standard sole production process. The proportion of recycled rubber has been selected to ensure that the sole is still produced in the usual Meindl quality.
