Meindl Linosa Identity GTX - Meindl women's shoe made of soft aniline leather with traceability, removable leather insole, waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX climate lining, and a grippy VIBRAM sole with excellent cushioning and traction. In the models of the new Identity series, Meindl provides a detailed traceability of the upper leather used. This creates complete transparency with the Identity series, starting from the alpine meadow where the cattle graze and live, through the tannery that environmentally friendly processes the leather in Germany, to the production of the shoes. Ecological considerations and sustainability are paramount at Meindl, which is why they source leather from partners and suppliers in the Chiemgau and Salzburg region. Even during tanning, the leather is assigned an identification number. Each hide is individually stamped by hand. This identification number, also known as the Identity number, is later engraved in the shoe (on the inner part of the cuff). This allows you to trace the life of your shoe leather.
