Meindl manufactures the Jura GTX Men according to its Comfort fit® last concept, which is optimal for feet that need a bit more space, meaning they are slightly wider. It features a more pronounced shaping of the ball area, a straight alignment of the big toe to relieve pressure from the ball, a slightly wider and more voluminous fit, as well as better rolling support. These comfort measures are complemented by Meindl Comfort fit® cork insoles. These not only enhance walking comfort but also regulate the climate and moisture balance inside the shoe. The thin fleece upper material quickly absorbs moisture and transfers it to the breathable cork material, which transports it outside rapidly, preventing excessive sweating. At the same time, cork insulates better in cold conditions than plastic insoles. Additionally, Meindl has equipped the Jura GTX Men with a continuous EVA cushioning wedge, which significantly improves its running properties. Finally, the proprietary Meindl Multigrip® sole guarantees excellent traction, outstanding stability, and durability. The Gore-Tex® lining is completely waterproof.
