After years of collecting data and feedback from athletes in the World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series, Maxxis has completely redesigned the Shorty. The arrangement of the knobs has been changed to improve traction in wet conditions, cornering performance, and mud shedding. The narrower 2.40-inch casing enhances frame and fork clearance when it gets really muddy and reduces weight.
