Product details
Maxxis' most popular training tire and most stable road bike tire has been designed with Tubeless-Ready technology and increased volume for new applications. Even more reliability and comfort, along with the right tire sizes, make the Re-Fuse the top choice for gravel bikes and touring mountain bikes. Its diamond tread rolls smoothly, even when the road turns into a dirt or gravel path. Tubeless Ready tires offer many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure, which provides more traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also lower. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This ensures that tubeless mounting on all standard-sized rims is successful with the first inflation and minimal liquid. MaxxShield is the ultimate puncture protection. It combines Silkshield all-around protection with the K2 Layer (Kevlar Composite). Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread tire. Maxxis arranges the compounds based on the desired characteristics of the tires.
