Maxxis Minion DHR II WT TR DD 2x120TPI 3C Grip

With its completely new profile design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have angled shapes for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape that digs in during hard braking, helping to keep the bike under control.

Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the profile layout and tire shape for modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, which negatively impacts performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.

Double Down: Double Down tires are constructed like their downhill counterparts: two casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. With two 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) casing layers and an aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than our downhill tires, yet more stable and robust than the TR + EXO tires, making them ideal for tough enduro courses.
