Product details
The HighRoller II is the logical evolution of a legend – the HighRoller. It is more modern and aggressive, with an open profile design that digs deeper into the ground, yet has lower rolling resistance. Self-cleaning is even better. The precise tuning of the knob positions results in very predictable handling with seamless transitions when cornering, providing enormous grip. The braking traction also benefits from the new design. The MaxxPro compound is the first tire mixture for bicycle tires where the components have been extremely finely ground. This mixture is optimal for everything from all-mountain to downhill: more grip, good damping properties, long lifespan, and low rolling resistance. And no knob tearing – a success of the exclusive Maxxis MaxxPro technology. Two fabric layers are combined and wrapped around the bead cores. The finished casing then has four layers on the sidewalls and even six layers under the tread. This is how Maxxis downhill tires are made.
