Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tire that rolls incredibly fast, carves precisely through corners, and decelerates effectively when needed. The profile of the Rekon, Minion DHF, and HighRoller II was used as a starting point and designed in close collaboration with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season. The Dissector excels as a rear tire in the DH version, whether for racing or bike park use. The trail version also makes sense on the front wheel if you want a tire that rolls easily and offers good grip.
Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for today’s modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wider rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.
EXO Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible, allowing the tire's performance to remain impressively good.
3C Maxx Terra: The right 3C compound for your enduro and freeride tires. This compound is characterized by easy rolling uphill as well as excellent grip downhill, along with a long lifespan.
