Product details
The Detonator 1.25 is a narrow, very lightweight MTB road tire designed for training or quick city use. Developed for a pressure of up to 6.8 bar, it offers extremely low rolling resistance and a true road bike feel on the bike. In the 1.50 version, it is a stable slick tire.
The wire bead core ensures that the tire stays securely on the rim. High-quality wire is very suitable for this purpose, but it has the disadvantage of being non-foldable and slightly heavier (about 50 g more).
The Maxxis Performance Compound (MPC) is Maxxis's all-round compound. This rubber mixture benefits from the development expertise of the world's largest bicycle tire manufacturer and impresses in daily use with a very long lifespan, grip, and maximum reliability.
