EXO Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the tire's performance remains impressively good.

Dual Compound: Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis arranges the compounds according to the desired characteristics of the tires.

Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, which affects performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but work excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.
