Drivers have asked, begged, and perhaps even pleaded. Now Maxxis has finally responded! Effective immediately, Maxxis will offer a limited production run of the Aspen and Aspen ST with a 170TPI casing. Until now, these tires were exclusively reserved for top racing teams. All team-spec tires feature the EXO sidewall protection and are tubeless-ready. However, it is important to note that these tires are primarily intended for use under suitable racing conditions. The trade-off for the weight savings and low rolling resistance of the 170TPI casing is a reduced durability compared to the standard 120TPI casing.

Source: Digitec GalaxusDespite its thin profile, the wide, bulbous Aspen bites well and surfs dry trails quickly. However, caution is advised in wet and slippery conditions, as it loses grip early on. Medium rolling resistance, rather heavy. Very good puncture resistance.
