Mavic CXP Pro rim

Aerodynamics plus top performance in one with the CXP Pro from Mavic. With its 23 mm high aero profile, it slices through the wind, while the Maxtal alloy saves weight. The SUP-welded and eyeleted CXP 33 is also exceptionally stable and durable.

Maxtal: The aluminum alloy exclusively manufactured for Mavic offers a higher strength-to-weight ratio than conventional 6106 aluminum. As a result, the rim is 30% more resilient and achieves a lower system weight.

SUP: Machine-processed welding seam process. The rim joint is welded and then machined to create a uniform braking surface. This process results in an extremely stable rim joint, which eliminates typical brake shudder and allows for perfect lacing and centering.

UB Control: Subsequently CNC-turned braking surface. This ensures better braking performance and prevents unpleasant brake shudder.
