The Kingpin is the benchmark for downhill-orientated performance pin bindings. Its alpine heel ensures excellent power transmission and ski control and reduces the likelihood of a false release. The carbon-reinforced front with ISI toe piece improves step-in comfort, as the boot is automatically positioned and aligned thanks to the wide base.

Product details
The innovative Kingpin redefines the performance standard for alpine touring bindings with its introduction. The toe piece and heel unit are the result of years of development work: easy to handle, thanks to a wide mounting pattern and XXL Power Transmitter with unusually high power transfer and impressive walking comfort (including 0°, 7°, and 13° climbing aids). The current Kingpin 13 features a lighter toe piece from the Alpinist with only two springs, further reducing weight. Release functionality and downhill performance still operate at the highest level.
The revolutionary heel construction for PinTech bindings, with widely spaced sole contact points, provides loss-free and very direct power transfer, which is typically only found in alpine bindings. In terms of safety, the Kingpin also offers previously unknown advantages.
All good climbing aids have one thing in common: they can be operated intuitively in any situation, even when they are not in sight. Simplicity is a fundamental requirement, and reduced effort is not a shame. The Kingpin also impresses with its integrated climbing aid, available in 7° and 13°, which can be easily operated with the basket of the ski pole. And because the lever is positioned in the upper third of the heel, it can be reached with any basket shape or pole tip.
The Pintech design of the KingPin toe piece allows for ergonomic foot rolling and the most direct ski connection. Six steel springs ensure optimal energy absorption up to a Z-value of 13. Firm stops guarantee a comfortable entry in all conditions.
