A pair of trousers for almost all alpine sports? Here would be one. The Taiss SO is a universal pant in good medium thickness and robustness that all testers enjoyed wearing.
The Taiss Guide is the softshell pant with the strongest weather protection in our collection, designed for mountaineering and ski touring. The robust, 3-layer fabric with membrane is completely windproof and, thanks to PFC-free, water-repellent impregnation, offers reliable protection even in the nastiest conditions. After great exertion, you can ventilate with the zips positioned at hip level. The elasticated Velcro waist and leg hems with elasticated gusset and zipper allow you to adjust the fit of the trousers. The low weight and many other features, such as the harness-compatible zipped pockets and the reinforced leg cuffs to protect against ski edges and crampons, ensure that you can spend enjoyable days in the mountains with the Taiss Guide, even when the weather is uncomfortable.
