Wearing a light on your helmet high up on your head has several advantages. Firstly, it allows you to be seen better by drivers on the road. You are less likely to be overlooked by parked cars or other obstacles. Secondly, the light on your helmet makes it much easier for motorists to see where you are looking and to approach you.

Chips On Board (COB) is a method of LED construction that offers several advantages over more conventional technologies. It allows for a more compact footprint while delivering higher light intensity, meaning you can be seen from further away. It also results in a more uniform light beam. We consider it our best LED technology at the moment. Lumos Ultra will also be available as a MIPS version, which is an additional safety feature built into the helmet to provide extra protection against rotational movement on impact.

It is our most ventilated helmet to date. We listened to customer feedback and paid close attention to how Ultra routes air through its internal ventilation system. We created three large outlets in the back of the helmet to ensure hot air is pushed out, keeping the rider cool, whether commuting or sport riding.
