Statement of proven quality that thinks one step ahead. The Ecoline by LignumTee sets new standards in sustainability, social responsibility, as well as climate and environmental protection.

Material and production: The teas are made from a biopolymer specially developed for us, which consists of 99% corn, a renewable and highly resource-efficient raw material. This makes the Ecoline tea biodegradable and CO2-neutral. With the tailored production process, a stable tea has been created that meets all our requirements. The short transport route from production to storage also ensures a minimal CO2 footprint.

Packaging: The current packaging is biodegradable, reflecting the sustainable considerations behind the design and materials.

Social responsibility: The partnership with the Vienna Lebenshilfe is another important component of the Ecoline and sustainability concept. The Austrian association enables people with intellectual disabilities to lead as self-determined a life as possible and provides around 400 people with a home, work, and representation for their concerns. In the workshops of the Vienna Lebenshilfe, the teas are carefully checked and packed by hand for us.
