Product details
With over a century of experience in the development of telescopic devices, microscopes, and cameras, we now present a new generation of Leica binoculars: the Noctivid. Compact in size, stylish and elegant, yet incredibly robust and durable. These binoculars set new standards in design and can be used in any situation. The slim binocular tubes can be easily grasped with one hand, thanks to the open bridge design. The short construction allows the majority of the weight to rest in the center of the palm, enabling fatigue-free observation. The textured rubber armor provides an extremely pleasant feel while being slip-resistant and shock-absorbing. A highly durable, patented special coating further protects the metal surfaces of the robust magnesium housing. However, the real milestones are set by the mechanics and optics of the new Leica binocular family. In terms of optical performance, the Noctivid combines the best of the most innovative and proven technologies. The Schott HT glasses, already used in the Leica Ultravid HD-Plus optics, ensure astonishingly natural colors and maximum transmission in the Noctivid as well. Complex, innovative aperture systems for stray light suppression result in minimal stray light and maximum contrast.
