The rear stabilizing heel insert provides perfect control on cross passages. The lacing system is integrated with the upper material through eyelets sewn onto the inner elastic fabric, as well as through reinforcements in hard plastic on the outer mesh. This system allows for an even distribution of lacing tension across the entire upper for maximum comfort. The Ultra Raptor II GTX® is also available in a Wide-Fit comfort version for hikers with wider feet.
