The highly breathable upper made of air mesh fabric has an integrated cushioning plate "Endurance Platform" made of soft EVA with differentiated thickness (larger on the toe, smaller on the heel) for maximum shock absorption in any situation and reduction of ramp angle. The rear stabilising heel insert allows perfect control on cross-passages. The lacing system is integrated with the upper through eyelets sewn onto the inner elastic mesh and hard plastic reinforcements on the outer mesh: this system allows the tension of the lacing to be distributed over the entire upper for maximum comfort. The laces and Ortholite® hybrid footbed have also been made from recycled material. Ultra Raptor II is also available in a wide-fit comfort version, for runners with wider feet.
