The TX5 GTX model from the Traverse X series is a protective and comfortable approach shoe for all hikers who are also travelling with heavy rucksacks. The high shaft provides stability for the ankle and is therefore particularly suitable for carrying heavy loads. In addition, the 3D Flex movement system on the ankle offers additional protection and enables maximum control when stepping and freedom of movement. A stabilising insole is used as a midsole, making the shoe the ideal companion for long periods of use. Thanks to its Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, the shoe is waterproof and breathable at the same time. The soft nubuck upper is equipped with an abrasion-resistant all-round protective rand and a shock-resistant rubber toe, which provides the foot with comprehensive protection. The high shoe collar prevents stones and mud from getting in. The overall package is rounded off by the Vibram MegaGrip rubber compound with differentiated studs and Impact Brake System for additional cushioning and grip on any surface.
