The TX4 Evo Mid GTX Men by La Sportiva is a waterproof leather shoe from the Approach Traverse X series, designed for use on alpine approaches and sporty via ferratas. Perfect for all those who spend long hours on the mountain or climbing and want to rely on a weatherproof, stable shoe. The robust TX 4 has been given a soft leather outer shell which, together with the spacious but snug-fitting forefoot area, results in a fit that lies at the comfortable interface between a well-fitting climbing shoe and a comfortable, easy-rolling hiking shoe. The Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining ensures dry feet, even when it gets really wet. The upper not only provides additional stability in the terrain, but of course also has a flexible zone in the ankle area so that you have enough freedom of movement when scrambling despite the mid-height shoe. The Vibram MegaGrip sole also gives you good grip on the mountain. The integrated Impact Brake System at the back gives you a little more control when descending and, of course, this La Sportiva model also has a Climbing Zone in the toe area, which benefits the versatility of the shoe when negotiating smaller climbing passages and difficult terrain. To ensure that the TX4 has a long life despite stony paths, the Italian mountain sports specialists have added an all-round scree protection edge to the robust upper leather. It also has a Resole Platform™ in the midsole, which makes it easy to resole without having to sacrifice comfort. The lacing system was derived from the Mythos climbing shoe and allows the shoe to be adjusted quickly and precisely.
