This approach shoe features a sole from Vibram: The combination of the highly adhesive Megagrip rubber and the patented Impact Brake System ensures maximum stability during descents and optimal traction control during ascents or in easy climbing sections. The sole is also renewable when the profile has worn down after good use. Typical for an approach shoe, the TX4 Evo also has a Climbing Zone in the forefoot area. The foot is snugly enveloped from above by a soft shaft that allows for easy adjustment of shoe volume and tension with just one hand using the patented climbing shoe lacing system. The very wide rubber rand protects the foot and material from damage caused by sharp rocks and debris.
