La Sportiva TX Guide Women

The TX Guide Women is the most technical shoe in La Sportiva's TX series. This shoe was developed for technical approaches, mountaineering, and via ferratas, making it ideal for activities in demanding terrain that require high-performance and durable footwear. This approach shoe is versatile, very lightweight, offers protection, and provides excellent grip. La Sportiva achieves this combination of features through a lightweight synthetic upper and a heavily profiled outsole with a high rock guard. Visually striking is the split sole, which is actually made from two different Vibram® rubber compounds: Vibram® MegaGrip and Idrogrip, providing the perfect balance of traction and durability. The profile-less Climbing Zone at the front allows for optimal grip on edges while climbing. Speaking of grip: the foot also needs to be securely held, which is ensured in the TX Guide by the lacing that extends far forward and the well-fitting Tech-Fit design. The tongue construction is inspired by running shoes and prevents the entry of debris with its snug yet softly padded closure. Despite all the desired firmness, the TX Guide offers the foot the necessary cushioning through the soft Ortholite insole and the EVA damping wedge, allowing you to tackle long distances comfortably.
