La Sportiva TX Guide Leather

The leather version of the TX Guide is inspired by the climbing world, making it the ideal approach shoe for mountain guides and anyone active in the mountains seeking a high-performance shoe for approach and mountaineering. The TX Guide is the most technical shoe in the TX Series La Sportiva line. It features a perfect combination of split leather, suede leather for a better fit, and nubuck leather for abrasion resistance, making it suitable for technical approaches and mountaineering.

Designed for durability and a climbing-oriented look and feel, this versatile, lightweight, and protective shoe is perfect for walk-run and climb ascents. It includes technical solutions inspired by climbing shoes, such as asymmetric and forward-set lacing, friction-resistant eyelets at the toe, and an overlap tongue for maximum foot enveloping.

The adaptable fit shape allows for optimal performance and, thanks to the elastic leather, provides an excellent adaptation to all foot shapes. The stable toe ensures optimal grip on edges during climbing, while the climbing-inspired protective rim is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material.

The sole and midsole combination features dual-density compressed EVA for cushioning at the heel and stabilization on the midfoot. The front side of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer, created with two-component injection molding technology, serving as a stabilizer for the climbing zone, an intermediate layer, and a Rock Guard layer on the forefoot. The sole, made with dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compounds, offers an ideal balance of grip and durability.
