Thanks to its particularly grippy sole and the climbing zone in the toe area, which is suitable for use on the wall, the La Sportiva Boulder X is especially well-suited for technical approaches and via ferratas. The upper is made of suede leather with an all-around rubber rand for maximum protection against wear during climbing. The patented lacing system, derived from the design of the Mythos climbing shoe, ensures an asymmetric fit. The sole features a new Vibram concept that enhances grip during climbing, while the Impact Brake System provides better stability when descending. The use of soft 2 mm thick EVA offers shock-absorbing properties.

The Impact Brake System is an innovative system attached to the sole that dampens impact, aids in ascending, and prevents slipping during descent.
