Waterproof footwear with Gore-Tex membrane, specially designed for winter running. Structured and protective, it has been developed for ultra trails, ultra marathons, and long training sessions during the winter months. The Akyra GTX is particularly enveloping, comfortable, and breathable.

The upper is made of water-repellent and slip-resistant mesh, featuring three layers that provide a snug and structured fit, while the seamless construction ensures comfort. The innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ applications dynamically follow the movements of the foot, and the structural Flex-Guard™ applications minimize weight while providing a barrier against wear that can occur when running over roots and rocks.

Extraordinary stability is ensured by the TrailCage System™ technology, located between the two layers of the upper. It offers structure and good foot embedding and is integrated into the lacing system.

The sole, developed by the La Sportiva R&D department, features the new grippy FriXion XT shoe profile with Impact Brake System, boasts an exclusive design, and incorporates Trail Rocker technology that supports the natural foot strike of "heel outside – toe inside" while running. Cushioning, protection, and comfort are three facets of a perfect geometry, the Origami, which inspires the overall design. With Akyra, winter running becomes an art.
