The Akyra GTX is a structured, waterproof, and protective winter running shoe designed for long off-road and endurance routes, such as ultra trails or marathons.

The Akyra GTX impresses with its comfort and flexible structure while providing ample protection. The upper is seamless, snug-fitting, and breathable. The innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ applications dynamically support the foot and provide structure. The ultralight Flex-Guard™ microfiber applications protect against abrasions from rocks and roots. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane is waterproof and breathable, offering maximum protection in adverse weather conditions.

Exceptional stability is ensured by the TrailCage System™ technology, which is located between the two upper layers and is integrated into the lacing system, giving the shoe structure and fit.

The sole, developed by La Sportiva, is made from a FriXion® XT compound. The built-in Impact Brake System and Trail Rocker design provide cushioning and support for a natural running style.
