Technical and aesthetic revision of the endurance, super-cushioning Mountain Running® shoe designed for long distances, ultra-marathons and extended training sessions. Technical and aesthetic revision of Akasha, the shoe from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® line designed for endurance competitions, perfect for long-distance runs, ultramarathons, ultra-trails and extended training use. Comfort is achieved through cushioning, the Cushion Platform™ footbed and wider internal volumes. In addition, the soft, breathable upper features slip-on construction to avoid pressure points during running. The rear Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcements provide protection and structure by supporting the movement of the foot dynamically and without forcing. The FriXion® Red adhesive dual compound sole is equipped with the innovative Trail Rocker™ solution that supports the natural "heel out - toe in" roll during running. The laces and Ortholite® hybrid footbed have also been made from recycled material. Akasha II: the ultra runner's code is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
