It features excellent walking properties thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ construction: the pronounced geometry with a dual heel design improves braking performance when descending and allows for a smoother rolling motion, protecting the muscles. Durability and lightness are perfectly balanced with the new sole/midsole unit featuring an external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam for enhanced cushioning and reduced rubber layers. The shape is ergonomic: snug and precise, with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel for reinforcement of the upper material. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with a molded ankle and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better step control and perfect ankle mobility. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, while the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs provides better adaptation to hard rock surfaces.
